The trick with spiders is that they won't bite you unless they feel threatened. So as long as you let them do as they will then your fine.
Some angry ones are an exception though. But I don't handle those.

There are some Tarantulas that are very calm and docile. I have one called a curly hair (Scientific name: Bracyphelma Albopilosm) that is so docile that I can't move him onto my hand. I have to pick him up if I want to move him. I would have to try to get him to bite me and i don't know if I could succeed.
He's like a pet rock that eats crickets and digs a lot. I named him Dozer.
