She is but it is a very mild venom. All tarantulas are venomous but only a couple types have "medically significant bites" which is either the venom causes a good deal of cramping and pain or the large fangs do physical damage that could be medicaly significant.

Just remember this though. No tarantula has ever killed a human in recorded history. :)
